About Us

From lab to product, from research to industry: a studio for nanotechnology and advanced materials innovation.

Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials Innovation Studio

Turning nanotechnology knowledge into applied solutions, industrial technologies and products ready for development

About the Studio

Nano Innovation Studio is a specialized studio in applied nanotechnology, advanced materials development and industrial innovation. It works to build an effective link between scientific knowledge, the technical needs of industry and business opportunities.

We aim to turn knowledge and research, beyond academic settings, into solutions that answer real industrial problems, improve the technical capabilities of products and open the way for new technologies.

Our work focuses on identifying the problem, assessing scientific and technical feasibility, designing solutions, research and development, prototyping, and reviewing paths for technology development and commercialization.

What Do We Do?

Many scientific ideas and research results have the potential to become industrial products and solutions. But moving from knowledge and research to technology development, testing, production and market entry requires different skills and processes.

At the same time, industries need solutions to their technical problems that are designed for real production conditions, performance requirements and operational constraints. Nano Innovation Studio works at the meeting point of these two needs.

Our work can start with developing a formulation or an advanced material and continue to prototyping, performance evaluation, designing an industrial development path and assessing commercialization potential.

At Nano Innovation Studio, technology is not the end point of research; it is a tool for creating technical, industrial and economic value.

Why Nano Innovation Studio?

01

Focus on Real Industrial Problems

Many of our projects start with a specific problem: from the performance limits of materials and the need for a new product to technical challenges in industrial processes.

Instead of proposing a technology just because it is new, we first understand the problem and then assess whether technological solutions can be used.

02

Linking Science and Application

Scientific knowledge becomes applied technology when it can be presented as a solution that can be reviewed, tested and developed.

In our projects, we connect scientific fundamentals, engineering requirements, evaluation criteria and end-use conditions.

03

A Development Mindset Toward Technology

Technology development is not limited to research or producing a lab sample. Reproducibility of results, product performance, scalability, development costs and market requirements must also be considered.

Our approach is to consider these aspects from the early stages of defining a project.

04

Interdisciplinary Collaboration

Many complex industrial problems cannot be solved with a single specialty. Developing new solutions may require collaboration between nanotechnology, materials engineering, chemistry, product design, industrial processes and business.

Based on each project's needs, the studio defines a path for collaboration with relevant experts and scientific and industrial organizations.

05

Attention to the Economic Value of Technology

Besides scientific feasibility, a technology must also be assessed in terms of application, development cost, market need and the path to use.

In product development and commercialization projects, economic value and the real usability of results are part of the decision-making process.

From Idea to Technology: Our Approach to Innovation

We see technology development as a step-by-step process that must move forward based on evidence, real needs and clear goals.

01

Understanding the Problem

The industrial need, initial idea or product development goal is defined. Available technical information and project constraints are reviewed.

02

Scientific and Technical Review

Existing knowledge, related technologies, possible solutions and technical barriers are identified to assess the project's initial feasibility.

03

Solution Design

Based on the findings, the development path, test methods, required resources and evaluation criteria are defined.

04

Research and Development

Research and engineering activities are carried out to fit the project: from developing materials and refining formulations to testing and building prototypes.

05

Evaluating Results

The performance of the developed solution is reviewed against the defined technical criteria, and the development plan is adjusted if needed.

06

Defining the Next Development Path

Based on the results, paths such as further development, testing in industrial conditions, scale-up or a commercialization review are defined.

Not every project needs all of these stages. The structure of each collaboration is designed to match its goal, technology readiness level and agreed scope.
